- Everyone’s different, but everyone is capable of change. Goals should be personalized and different for everyone.
- Be optimistic. Our progress is emotionally positive, hopeful, and forgiving.
- People > principles. Maintain relationships. Eat with friends. Make exceptions.
- Keep it simple. Don’t overcomplicate it with numbers and fancy words.
Homework: Set a small goal.
- Review your food journal from yesterday and the list of “why”s.
- List 3-5 overall changes you want to make toward better health.
- Write down 1 specific, easily achievable, very realistic small goal that you can confidently start with for the next 7 days.
